The March 2011 edition of the
Cardiovascular Business
Journal promotes Cardiomark as a
tool for cardiovascular health care providers to
increase their
patient referral base. The
article discusses Pikes Peak Cardiology's experience
with Pocket EKG, noting that Pocket EKG helped
boost word of mouth referrals by 22
percent annually.
Beyond referrals, Pocket EKG helps
promote practice development at Pikes Peak. As a part of
the Pocket EKG Service, patients receive a Patient
Satisfaction Survey and pre-addressed, prepaid envelope
in the mail with the Pocket EKG Card. Cardiomark
receives and processes the completed surveys, reporting
results quarterly. Ronald D. Blonder, MD, DO, a
cardiologist at Pikes Peak says, "The survey gives an
objective cross-section of the practice's results so
that we can identify problems early."
